May Chen graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University. She previously served as a product development engineer and project manager at Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industrial Company). This engineering background provided a solid foundation for her subsequent career as a patent litigator and patent attorney.

After obtaining her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Soochow University (Taiwan), May was admitted as an attorney-at-law and a patent attorney. She has extensive experience representing clients worldwide in patent and design prosecution matters, and she is keenly interested in learning about new technologies and designs from her clients.

May and her team also provide strategic advice on intellectual property and patent portfolio management, as well as assistance with patent drafting. As a litigator, she has assisted clients—including prominent technology companies—in enforcing patent rights, defending against patent infringement allegations, maintaining patent rights, instituting invalidation actions, and handling other technology-related legal matters.
