TENDER DOCUMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT AVAILABLE ONLINE
On 1 April 2000, the PCC begun implementing an electronic distribution system for government procurement tender documents. Companies can download electronic tender documents for gov-ernment contracts from http://www.geps.gov.tw/. This system is expected to help reduce bid rig-ging. However, because online submission of tenders would involve electronic payment of tender deposits and the use of electronic signa-tures, the PCC will wait until the enactment of the Electronic Signature Law before introducing online tendering.
