ESTABLISHMENT OF INSURANCE AGENCIES OR BROKERAGES BY BANKING INDUSTRY
To expand their peripheral financial services, and to avoid violating Article 136 of the Insurance Law, many bank groups have applied to invest in the establishment of insurance agencies or brokerages companies. Lee and Li has already acted on behalf of several of them in such applications, and has assisted the invested companies in reviewing their contracts with banks, insurance companies or other partners, and related documents, to ensure their compliance with the law.
