PCC IS DRAFTING THE CONSTRUCTION LAW
The PCC has decided to change the name of the draft Public Construction Law to the Construction Law. The new draft extended its scope to regulate both private-sector participation in public construction projects and private-sector construction projects. The draft explicitly provides that the professional liability of designers, construction supervisors and specialist engineers should not be diminished by the fact of the work having passed inspection, and imposes severe penalties for fraudulent signing of certificates. The draft law comprises 109 articles in nine chapters.
