ASSISTANCE AND COOPERATION FOR IMPLEMENTING SUPERVISORSHIP

According to the ruling (No. Chin-Shen-Tzi-09902140320) made by the Ministry of Economic Affairs on October 8, 2010, when exercising rights pertaining to supervisorship pursuant to the Company Act, a supervisor may request cooperation and assistance from the company and its stock agent. Such a request is different from a shareholder's request to review or have a copy of the company's Articles of Incorporation, books or records pursuant to Article 210 of the Company Act. When a supervisor requests a copy of the shareholders roster from the company and its stock agent for calling a shareholders meeting pursuant to Article 220 of the Company Act, the requirements to provide documents evidencing interest in the company or to specify the request (Article 210 of the Company Act) shall not apply.
