DRAFT AMENDMENT TO VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT PROVISION UNDER THE LABOR STANDARDS ACT
The Legislative Yuan passed the draft amendment to Article 53 of the Labor Standards Act on March 31, 2009, according which an employee may apply for voluntary retirement when he/she attains the age of 60 and has worked for the same enterprise for more than 10 years.
