EMPLOYEES' LEAVE RULES AMENDED
In June 2005, the Council of Labor Affairs amended the Rules Governing Leaves Taking by Employees. The number of days of bereavement leave that an employee may take on the death of a spouse’s grandparent is reduced from six days to three. But the definition of a grandparent or spouse’s grandparent is expanded to include maternal grandparents.
