INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY CLAIMS PRACTICE
In our January 2002 issue, we reported on the effects of WTO accession on Taiwan's practice concerning international patent priority claims. Because it is still being investigated whether ROC nationals are entitled to claim priority in all other member countries of the WTO, the Intel-lectual Property Office (IPO) has not yet for-mally announced whether it will regard every WTO member country as granting reciprocity in the treatment of priority claims.
