QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN SPECIALISTS RELAXED
The Enforcement Rules of the Employment and Services Law were amended on 2 November 2001. If approved on a case-by-case basis, for-eign specialist or technical personnel coming to work in Taiwan can now be exempted from the requirement for master's degree holders to have one year's relevant work experience, and bachelor's degree holders to have two years' ex-perience.
